Starting prices in Botswana Pula (BWP), effective 27 July 2026. Your exact quote depends on your practice — and is fixed in writing before you commit.
The starting rate for a single-practitioner, single-site practice. Additional specialists and sites adjust the rate. Billed monthly in advance — never per user.
Charged once, at the start. Scoped after the demonstration and fixed in your agreement.
Hospitals run on their own pricing structure, scoped per facility rather than per practice.
We would rather show you the drivers than hide the number. Your quote is built from:
| Driver | Effect on the quote |
|---|---|
| Number of practitioners | The starting rate covers one practitioner. Each additional specialist or practitioner in the practice adjusts the monthly fee. Support staff — reception, nursing, admin — are unlimited and never charged for. |
| Practice type | A standard GP, dental, optometry or allied-health practice starts at the published rate. Specialist configurations with heavier clinical tooling can price above it. |
| Number of sites | The starting rate covers a single site. Additional branches add to the monthly fee — still one system, one patient record, one bill. |
| Implementation complexity | Data migration scope, number of sites and on-site training days set the once-off fee, from P 6,800. |
| Hospitals | Priced per facility on a separate structure — beds, departments, theatres and integrations — with a managed implementation project. |
Whatever is quoted is what is charged. Your fees are stated in writing in your service agreement before you commit. They never change mid-term, and any increase at renewal carries at least sixty days' notice. We will never invoice an amount you have not agreed to in advance.
| Charge | Amount (BWP) | When |
|---|---|---|
| Implementation & onboarding | From P 6,800 — fixed in your agreement | Once, invoiced when you sign up |
| Monthly subscription | From P 1,500 (single practitioner, single site) — fixed in your agreement | Every month in advance, from go-live |
| Additional on-site training beyond the included sessions | Quoted in advance | Only if you request it |
| Custom development or integration to a third-party system | Quoted in advance | Only if you request it and approve the quote |
| Extra users, extra patients, extra storage, updates, backups, support | No charge | — |
Prices exclude Value Added Tax. Where VAT is applicable it is shown separately on your tax invoice at the rate prescribed by Botswana law at the time of supply. We will never charge you an amount you have not been invoiced for in advance.

| Card & mobile money via DPO Pay |
You start the payment from the billing page inside your Bupilo account. Card details are entered on DPO Pay's own secure page — never on ours. | Immediately on confirmation |
| PayPal | Started the same way, from inside your account. Because PayPal does not settle in Pula, the equivalent amount is charged in the currency shown at checkout. | Immediately on confirmation |
| Bank transfer (EFT) | We provide our Botswana bank details on your invoice. Use your practice code as the payment reference. | Once funds reflect — usually the same or next business day |
Payments are always against an invoice. We do not take card details over the phone, we do not store card numbers, and we never charge a card without an invoice already issued to your practice. Every online payment is started by you, from inside your own authenticated account.
We would rather talk to you than switch you off. The sequence is:
See the refund and cancellation policy for how notice periods and refunds work, and the terms of service for the full agreement.
Bupilo prices, invoices and card payments are all in Botswana Pula (BWP). If you choose to pay by PayPal, the amount is converted at the rate shown to you before you confirm, and the converted figure is what PayPal will charge. The Pula amount on your invoice is what settles your account either way.
Tell us how you work now and we will tell you honestly whether Bupilo is the right tool, what it would cost, and how long it would take.
