Bupilo brings the front desk, the consulting room, the dispensary, the theatre and the accounts office into one modern system — priced in Pula, delivered in your browser, with nothing to install.
Bupilo is a software subscription. No physical goods, nothing shipped, nothing installed on your computers. Your practice gets its own secure, isolated environment and your staff sign in through a browser at app.bupilo.co.bw.
Front desk, consulting room, dispensary, laboratory and accounts all work off the same patient record. No re-typing, no spreadsheets on the side, no reconciling two systems at month end.
Each practice runs in its own separate database — never pooled with anyone else's patients. Role-based access, two-factor login, a tamper-evident audit trail, and a full export whenever you ask for it.
Real tariff codes and practitioner types, medical-aid scheme splits and levies, electronic claim batches in the formats the local schemes accept, and VAT invoicing that follows current Botswana rules.
Turn on only what your practice needs. Every module reads and writes the same record, so information entered once appears everywhere it matters.
Registration with Omang and medical-aid capture, check-in that queues the patient straight to the right room, and a diary the whole practice can see.
Consultation notes, vitals, ICD-10 coded diagnoses, procedures and referrals — with the patient's complete history from every department one search away.
Electronic prescriptions land in the dispensing queue on their own; stock, batches and expiries update themselves as you dispense.
Order tests and imaging from the consulting room; results come back to the same record, with critical values flagged to the practitioner immediately.
Admissions and beds, ward rounds, nursing observations with automatic early-warning scores, theatre lists with safety checklists, and discharge summaries that write themselves from the stay.
Tariff-driven charges flow from the visit to the till to the claim. Cash, card, scheme splits and levies — then electronic claim batches in the formats the schemes accept, with rejections tracked to resubmission.
Multi-store inventory with purchase orders and stock takes; staff records, rosters and leave aligned to Botswana statutory minimums; dashboards that drill down to the underlying records.
Every step writes to the same record — so the bill matches the visit, the claim matches the bill, and nothing is typed twice.

Most practice software is written for another market and translated later. Bupilo starts from how a Botswana practice actually registers, bills, claims and reports.
Identity capture built around Omang and passport numbers, with field-level masking so only roles that need them can see them.
Charging built on the tariff codes and practitioner types Botswana schemes recognise — not a foreign fee schedule renamed.
Claim batches generated in the electronic formats the local medical-aid schemes accept, with validation before export so bad batches never leave the building.
Tax invoices and receipts that follow current BURS VAT rules — including the 2026 changes affecting medical practices — applied automatically.
Controller-and-processor roles, breach notification, individual rights and compliant cross-border hosting — documented, not implied. Read the policy.
Training on site, support in your timezone, and pricing in Pula. When you call, you reach the people who built it.
Claim formats supported for submission to these schemes. Scheme names are the property of their respective owners; no endorsement is implied.
Each specialty gets its own charting tools, workflows and printouts — a dentist sees an odontogram, an optometrist sees an eye diagram, an obstetrician sees a partogram.
Starting prices published right here, and your exact quote fixed in writing before you sign — not revealed after three sales calls.
The rate scales only with practitioners and sites — agreed up front. Reception, nursing and admin accounts are unlimited and free.
Local schemes, Omang, BURS VAT and the Data Protection Act are the starting point, not an afterthought from another market.
Month to month, cancel on 30 days' notice, and a full export of your data whenever you ask — free, in a standard format.
A single-practitioner, single-site practice starts at the rates below. More specialists, more sites or a bigger migration move the quote — and whatever is quoted is fixed in writing before you commit. Support staff are never charged for.
Everything needed to get your practice live — scoped and fixed in writing after the demo.
Starting rate for a single-practitioner, single-site practice. Additional specialists and sites adjust the rate — agreed up front. Billed monthly in advance.
For a single-practitioner, single-site practice at the starting rates. Slide the months — multi-specialist practices, extra sites and hospitals are quoted individually.

Health records are among the most sensitive data there is. Bupilo is built around the Botswana Data Protection Act, 2018 and follows ISO/IEC 27001 practice for access control, passwords and audit.
Online subscription payments are processed by DPO Pay and PayPal — established, PCI-DSS-compliant payment providers. Card numbers are entered on the provider's own secure page and never touch Bupilo's systems. We receive only confirmation that the payment succeeded.
Every payment is taken in Pula, against an invoice already issued to your practice, started by you from inside your own account.
A subscription to use the Bupilo software over the internet, plus a once-off implementation service to get your practice set up on it. It is a service, not a product you own a copy of — there is no disc, no download and no licence key.
Electronically and immediately. Once your account is activated, your practice environment is created automatically and your staff can sign in at app.bupilo.co.bw within minutes, from any device with a browser. The implementation work — data migration, configuration and training — typically takes one to two weeks and is arranged with you directly.
By card or mobile money through DPO Pay, by PayPal, or by bank transfer (EFT) into our Botswana bank account. Card, mobile money and PayPal payments activate your next month automatically; bank transfers are confirmed once the funds reflect, usually the same or next business day.
No. The subscription runs month to month. Cancel any time on 30 days' written notice and you will not be billed again after the notice period. See the refund and cancellation policy.
Yes — at any time, at no charge. We provide a full export in a standard machine-readable format on request, and again on cancellation. It is your data.
In a certified data centre in France, in the European Union, which provides a standard of protection at least equivalent to the Botswana Data Protection Act, 2018. Backups are encrypted and held separately.
We email a reminder five days after the due date and allow a fourteen-day grace period during which everything keeps working. Only after that is access suspended — and your data is retained in full and restored the moment payment is made.
A demonstration takes about forty-five minutes and follows your real workflows, not a canned script. No cost, no obligation.
